Cisco Aironet 1852E-E-K9C Controllerless Wi-Fi Access Point, 802.11ac Wave 2, with External Antenna (AIR-AP1852E-E-K9C), 10,100,1000 Mbit/s, IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11d, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11h, IEEE 802.11i,..., WPA, WPA2, Ethernet (RJ-45), 100 - 240 V, 50 - 60 Hz
AIR-AP1852E-E-K9C is one of the Cisco Aironet 1850 Series Access Points. Cisco 1850 AP series is ideal for small and medium-sized networks. This series supports enterprise-class 4x4 MIMO, four-spatial-stream access points that support the IEEE’s new 802.11ac Wave 2 specification. The 1850 Series extends support to a new generation of Wi-Fi clients, such as smartphones, tablets, and high-performance laptops that have integrated 802.11ac Wave 2 support. The model AIR-AP1852E-E-K9C provides E Regulatory Domain and External antennas. Model number ending in C is, by default, factory-shipped with a Cisco Mobility Express software image.

Support & Resources
Aironet 1852E-E-K9C Controllerless Wi-Fi Access Point, 802.11ac Wave 2, with External Antenna (AIR-AP1852E-E-K9C)
- MU-MIMO: 802.11ac Wave 2 with 4x4 Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technology with four spatial streams when operating in single-user MIMO mode and three spatial streams while operating in multi-user MIMO mode, offering 1.7 Gbps rates for more capacity and reliability than competing access points
- APPLICATION VISIBILITY AND CONTROL: Network Based Application Recognition (NBAR) deep-packet inspection technology provides application-aware control on a wireless network and enhances manageability and productivity. It also extends Cisco’s Application Visibility and Control (AVC) as an end-to-end solution, which gives a complete visibility of applications in the network and allows the administrator to take some action on the same.
- RADIO RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: Cisco's Radio Resource Management (abbreviated RRM) allows Cisco's Unified WLAN Architecture to continuously analyse the existing RF environments, automatically adjusting each AP's power and channel configurations to help mitigate things such as co-channel interference and signal coverage problems. RRM reduces the need to perform exhaustive site surveys, increases system capacity and provides automated self-healing functionality to compensate for RF dead zones and AP failures
- SECURITY: Securing the Device: Cisco Umbrella (OpenDNS), Identity PSK (iPSK), IP and DNS ACLs. Securing the Air: Spectrum Intelligence, Wireless Intrusion Detection (WIDS). Securing the Network: 802.1x on AP, AAA profiling and policy
- PEACE OF MIND: Limited lifetime hardware warranty
