Modem PCI GPRS has been projected using the latest GSM technologies and is suitable for Desktop PC in GPRS Internet connections (main Internet connection) or for a backup connection.
When used in industrial applications, Modem PCI GPRS is installed inside industrial desktop for data connections and SMS management.
With the GPRS Class 10 you can use 4 timeslots to receive data and 2 timeslots to send information, increasing the reception speed up to 85 Kbps and the transmission speed up to 42 Kbps.
Both the V.32 protocol for the connection to analog modems and the V.110 protocol for the connection to ISDN line are supported.
Modem PCI GPRS can manage SMS in PDU and Text format.
